I'm thinking about selling up and moving to the Dandenongs. More chainsaws going this morning. Why do people move to a treed area and then remove every tree?
It is rather chilly this morning.

that happens here too Blue and our council are stupid. They planted a gum tree right under the power line and next to the pole, so when it grew a bit they chopped all the branches and just left the top, it looks like a standard gum tree ATM but soon it will be too high for the wires

Where do I need to move to Boris to avoid these 6 degree mornings? Thankfully they are not super common here until winter.
Julie, you would have to move to Wollongong but the trade off is high humidity which can be awful. My weather theory is - cold weather slows the aging process, hot and humid weather hastens it. note: there is absolutely no science to back up my theory.

I think there may be some truth in that Boris

I am a bit sick of needing warm clothes, socks and boots till 10am then having to change to short sleeves, 3/4 pants and sandals!

I think I better stick with the cold weather then Boris.
Freddie I am so jealous. Sun is finally coming through now, but it won't be enough to wear shorts.

They are not allowed to cut down trees willy nilly up here, have to get council approval, unless the tree is dying or diseased they stay.........I love being in amongst all the trees, has its downside in summer ofcourse, but if you live up here, that is part and parcel of it.
