She did NOT allow this to happen David, get ya FACTS straight
She did not ALLOW it to happen,OK. But as David has mentioned the buck stops with her. If what the person in charge of border control has said is correct, then the NSW Health service failed. They regarded the risk as low and did not even send staff to the cruise ship on it's arrival. They gave their green light for the passengers to disembark.
I feel for the NSW Premier because she must place her faith in the managers who run the State's many departments to do their jobs competently. It appears some managers in their Health service made bad and incorrect decisions. I hope she deals with them in private and goes to greater lengths to ensure they try and get everything right the first time from hereon. But her Ministers, CEO's, Managers etc. must do their jobs correctly or else the Premier and the State will be let down.

maybe i have been a little 'over the top' with her
but the fact remains, her govt said its OK for a ship with lnown problems re the virus to dock.
i have no problem with that, that was a good decision, a caring decision. in dock medical help was on hand.
but come on, as soon as 'ship/virus' was heard (and im sure she heard about it) she should have had alarm bells ringing, meetings held, decisions made.
no one comes off that ship without a clean bill of health.
she dropped the ball on it.

i fully expect her to anounce 'i'm going to build a wall and make other states pay for it!'
What has building a wall got to do with anything?
And why pick on NSW.....our Premier is very much leading from the front and not sitting in her cushy office like some.
She seems to be doing a decent job.
really, she allowed the entire group of people on a ship infected by the virus to walk off into the sunset infecting who knows how many!
yep, pretty decent job there!
She did NOT allow this to happen David, get ya FACTS straight
but i say, she DID allow it, the fact is, shes the boss, the buck stops with her.
she obviously knew the ship was coming, she knew (or should have known) it was infected.
so why did she not order it into quaranteen?
stop making excuses
pmsl@making excuses ........ Frankly David you havent a CLUE what you are talking about ....... think you can do better? Then I suggest ya hop on a plane to NSW and take over, Gladys MAY even shout you a ticket

i find it funny back during the last really big crisis, the one Rudd took care of
when the Pink Batts thing went pear shaped there were plenty calling for Rudd to resign!
not a much different example, a leader who screwed up.

If some Govt. offices are not 'following' coronavirus advice, then the managers of those offices need to get their act together, and quickly. The Government holds regular meetings between members of the various groups and committees that have been set up to tackle each area of concern. The Chief Medical Officer (or delegate) and PM (or delegate) attend these meetings. So the final decisions in relation to each of the areas of concern are made in consultation with the medical experts and Government.
