Could be a test case for prisons. If a 6 week lockdown at home drives you nuts, what about 5-10 in jail?
Not to mention the ME refugees who lost everything including members of their family, when their towns were flattened by bombs, and other displaced people who have been sitting in refugee camps with no proper medical care or schooling for their kids for decade, or those who decided to take the chance and paid their last money to get to Australia, only to be locked up for 6+ years in detention centers with no hope being reunited with their families and children, no visiting allowed.
When I realised I will not be able to leave home, I made list of all the things that need to be done, then I pulled out all those books I bought over the years and did not get around to read, and now I am more busy than ever. Actually, I now get out of bed at 7am (the choocks need to be let out) and pretty much do not stop, except for the occasional cuppa and checking my emails until dinner time.

Their mental "health" issues are more likely to just be a case of them not being allowed to do as they want similar
to the lifting of some restrictions make some think that they can now do whatever they want.
Just near the river here last night they had a group of young people drinking and playing loud music after 11 pm
last night until they were shut down by the cops.
So maybe a fine or two may have been issued as well for being numpties.

But unless they're in solitary confinement they'd have company wouldn't they? And most form their little cliques? I think with the population what is contributing to the mental health probs is the total isolation for many particularly those who never had a solid circle of support and relied on social meetups outside the home.

Most prisoners in jail do have mental health problems. But unless the symptoms are pretty bad, then nobody gives a damn.
I think it's the cause and consequences of the restrictions that are affecting some people. They are worried, frightened and in many cases trying to cope with their stress without support. Then there are those who are fearful of domestic violence. Some people must be terribly worried about their present and future.

Would be a problem if no online purchases - but if local mental health people are concerned then they should lobby for saturday potsal / courier services for the duration - as for many is a morale booster awaiting the daily deliveries !

CHINA fax
Seems someone there has been applying folk logic to the question of total number of the infected ( they say contaminated )
There is a database complied from notifications of locations of , by implication, at least one infection, so the logic is that by finding the total number of reported locations then that number represents the minimum cases
so has been reported approx 640,000 locations
( now what was the R0 for China ? seems 3.28 , you do the calculation , i was never good at maths )
R0 R am what ?
http://www.sci-news.com/medicine/covid-19-reproduction-number-08132.html
R0 limitations
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7073717/
In the end offical cases published may possibly be only be those admitted to hospital
The implied total may include those restricted to home quaratine

This is interesting; it demonstrates how COVID19 spreads among people in restaurant, and you could apply it to other places

Congratulations Cambodia in eradicating coronavirus - once we and New Zealand have completed the same objective we can hopefully welcome each others citizens without concerns to our respective countries.
A alternate international holiday destination ? unexpected new trade and commerce ?
Phnom Penh , the new Bali ?

Shouldn't we also be congratulating North Korea - zero cases, zero deaths, zero need for eradications. Pyongyang, the new Bangkok - one night there and the world's your oyster. Yep.
