Is that your opinion? Thank goodness if it is because it is unlikely that the average Australian would think in such a way. Some people have been wearing face masks for years where I live. I would think somebody wearing one out and about at the moment is being sensible and is unlikely to be infected. Paranoia is infectious!

Riddled means all over and as ALL of the cases are in and around the CITY areas that's a completely false
statement and consider yourself lucky that you have 4 million less people in your state.
Much easier to control something when you have less than a third of the population of other states especially when
your state is much larger in size that's 4 times the size of Victoria.
Just try putting an extra 4 million people in a quarter of your BIG state and see how much that changes things.

But not everyone is smart enough to work that out

Frankly, I do not care what some ignorant morons think; I wear my mask when in shops, and try to keep distance from people.
or better still, STAY HOME especially if you live in one of the Melb HOT SPOT areas
Mild cold (sneeze) + asymtomatic covid-19 = stealth spreader

The reason the borders were not and will never shut is because we have border town each side of the Murray
river and at least one of those two towns needs access to the other side for shopping, medical, schooling, etc.
Other states don't seem to understand that they can't just close the borders between Vic and NSW due to the
border towns.
There are over 30 bridges and roads across the Murray so impossible to police and neither state would do so.
Qld borders are closed but there are exemptions for the border towns e.g travel between home and work, medical appointments, child care. Just depends how committed the govt are to the idea.
