Re: Coronavirus update

Kind of confusing as the article says NSW should mandate masks to avoid other states locking them out. Victoria mandated masks and WA locked them out anyway. I have no doubt if NSW mandated masks the border issue would be the same until community transmission was zero for 28 days.

I wonder what the advice NSW follows as there must be a reason for not making them compulsory. The Avalon cluster orignated at a RSL club so not sure how masks work at these locations. The Croydon cluster was spread in the same household where masks aren't required to be worn. The recent Victoria outbreak started at a cafe, so again who would be wearing a mask.

Re: Coronavirus update

Covid particles detected from the dunnies of Lakes Entrance VIC

Department of Health and Human Services Victoria | Coronavirus fragments detected in Lakes Entrance ...

My understanding is that "The Dept" requests that anyone experiencing even the mildest of symptoms to present themselves for testing ASAP , ie hitch a ride to Bairnsdale ? and them upon return stay at home awaiting results ( and I presume decline inclusion in partying )

Department of Health and Human Services Victoria | Where to get tested (dhhs.vic.gov.au)

Trouble is how does one differentiate between mild covid symptoms and a hangover ?

But seriously how many amongst the significant struggle class will upon feeling a litlle of-colour travel about 40 kms to the town with covid testing support ? I mean really ? This is where i find so much window dressing regarding mitigation in quickly changing circumstances - if there is cause for concern within a town , should there be immediately installed a mobile testing station ?
