I'm starting to worry that Morrison will start pushing the opening of international borders to non-Australians. That would be a different ball game and could prove disastrous if done too early.

Geez, I think there has been enough quarantine bungles to have little faith in that system containing the incoming infected.

A numberof places have been using - tracking bracelets - wristbands - and are able to check whereabouts.

They are able to record if tampering has happened etc

Better than nothing.

based upon that good news QLD is opening their borders to Victorians

Take the hopefully never to be repeated opportunity to tour, visit, have vacation within Australia - where for once everyone you meet or be around will have resident equity in Australia - quite peculiar being aware that everyone in sight is of the same national habitation , all in the same national boat - not good or bad just strange without the foreign tourists

Any word on this northern hemisphere's winter's influenza or has that been contained by coronavirus related mitigation like international travel restrictions etc
