Most people have their weekender easy drive from where they live.  Anybody with half a brain would bring their provisions as they could not be sure they will be able to get what they need.  If they then isolate in their house and garden; do not go near locals, and should any of them feel unwell they would drive back to the city.  I would certainly want to be near city hospital IF I would get really sick.  But most people do not need hospital, or even medical care.

That has simply never happened here as they've always sought supplies here and locals don't even shop in the

mornings when they are up as the supermarkets are simply to busy.

Hopefully they don't come up and simply stay at home as asked but when you see the numpties still getting

fined you see that there is a certain mentality out there that just don't get the idea as to what's safe and what

constituted a breach of the social distancing rules or don't seem to care.stubborn_smiley_by_mirz123-d4bt0te_zps12f1a5a3.gif

South Australia records third coronavirus death, but only one new positive COVID–19 case

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-04-09/south-australia-records-third-coronavirus-death/12135876

But Mr Marshall said now was "not the time for complacency [and] if anything we should be redoubling our efforts".

"I'm not talking about easing restrictions … any time soon," Mr Marshall said.

what restrictions, so far hes doing nothing about the thousands heading away from adelaide in all directions for their easter holidays.

oh boy, if we dont see a sudden explosion of positive test results all over the state in the next 2 weeks it'll be a mirical

Eleven people have each been fined $1,060 for breaching social gathering rules at a house in Port Augusta.

The group of 13 was warned four times on Tuesday and Wednesday before the fines were issued on Wednesday morning.

On their first three visits, police officers found the group in the backyard or in the house, while on the last occasion all were gathered in the lounge room.

Police Commissioner Grant Stevens called the breach a "disregard for the welfare of other people".

"It was clear our efforts to work with the community in this regard were not successful so we did what we said we would do and we issued expiation notices," he told ABC Radio Adelaide.

why 4 warnings?

surely if your breaking the law you dont get a warning, not with this virus.

sounds to me like because they annoyed the cops they got fined, not because there was 11 of them in one place.

NSW Premier orders Minister Don Harwin back to Sydney amid coronavirus bans on non-essential travel

this poor woman cant win a trick

not only is she a moron but so are her govt ministers!

the NSW fire services should give her a medal for the effort she puts in daily to put out self created spot fires!

Hey give her a break .......   why is she a moron?   She's generally  doing well for our state and works very hard. .

It's not her fault that some of her ministers are proving to be half-wits. Ms Berejiklian apologised for Mr Harwin's actions and said she was "deeply disappointed".  I think he should be sacked just as I think the Minister for Non=Health Hazzard should be (over the Ruby Princess saga)  but they rarely are.

As for Minister Don Harwin our Commissioner of Police Fuller is going after him and this man doesn't mess around. I wouldn't like to be on the wrong side of him,

a leader leads, shes not doing her job at all

weild the knife, cut the non performers from the team.

from the moment the ruby princess entered the harbour shes failed time and again.

how many have died or become ill because NSW allowed all those passengers once off the ship to travel anywhere?

maybe it wasnt her decision to let them off but she sure could have stopped them dispersing nation wide!

I don't think it is as simple as it seems.....he had gone to his holiday house back before there were any travel bans so was not breaking any rules at the time.

His normal place of residence is a small flat in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney where there have been outbreaks of the virus.  He also has a history of lung complaints.

IMO he did the right thing by removing himself from a place where he might have been in danger.....nd he did not break any rules that were in place at the time.

then the moron, i mean premier, should have got the facts and determined he had done the correct thing.

not ordered him back into virus central and blubbered about him doing the wrong thing.

she should have backed her guy, not used him to get brownie points!

like i said, moron. not a great leader.

over here guys, i found a safe place to hide in this cave full of poisonous snakes!

Easter is 'the most important weekend' in Australia's coronavirus fight as police warn of fines

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-04-10/coronavirus-enforcement-warning-for-easter-weekend/12138518

mixed messages again

while it looks like some states are very serious

others seem to think the 'tell them to do the right thing will work'

like south australia where you can say bugga that to the no travel warning, go on ya holiday, get 3 warnings about it, then get a fine!

recipe for disaster me thinks
