In general Labor is red and Liberal is blue... that is usually what it is on all their web sites, campaign t-shirts, signs, logos and anything else that is used to let the public know what side of politics you are on...
Usually there will be the word Labor or Liberal on your material as well.
This usually made it very easy for a person to turn up at the voting venue and get a how to vote card. If you knew what party you wanted you went for the right coloured t-shirts....
hm.. lets not forget the Greens.. they are always green as well. (don't want to forget anyone)
So knowing that bit of information can you pick who is who from these images?

I am thinking.... most people read ... they get to choose at the ballot box, little squares with numbers, all black and white don't they?
people can get how to vote cards... it advises them on the best way to vote if you want a particular outcome. It is very helpful when you want to number all the boxes to make your preference count.

I won't put an age on what I say is elderly... I live in an area with high numbers of retired people and many are elderly and elderly does not senile..
Then I would suggest you think a little more carefully before hitting the keyboard and be a bit more specific in your posts
I am also concerned about the elderly going to vote knowing that the team they want to vote for will be in a certain colour.
'The elderly' are not a flock of lost sheep looking for a shepherd to guide them. We have been voting for a damn sight longer than you have and the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of us know exactly who we want to vote for and how to cast our vote.

I certainly do not rely on the color of peoples clothes to cast my vote. Nobody is that silly surely. Gee what an insult. Mountain out of a mole hill.
Good post TGSE I agree with you 100%.

My parents in law would be what you call elderly and my MIL is starting to have issues however they are not stupid, they do not vote because of the colour, they know their candidates.

It is just a fact that the older you get the slower your thinking.
I don't agree with that I have known some very elderly people 80-90+ whose minds were sharp as tacks.
I live in a town where 70% of the pop are retired.. very few little old, forgetful ladies & gents wandering around here.
As I got to vote, all sorts of candidates try and stick their how to vote cards in my hand, I don't accept any of them.

Same here...and I particularly don't like the implication that because we are not "young" we are somehow not capable of making informed decisions and need to be led by the hand.
Maybe us "elderly"...should just sit the corner and drink our cocao and do our knitting....when Hell freezes over...lol

lol... obviously I have upset some people on here that consider themselves elderly...
funny thing is that I did say I won't put an age on the word yet you still seem to crucify me for my comment...
facts are I don't know anyones age here and I don't consider any of you elderly... let me just say I have noted those that seem to take the comment personally and I will forever consider you an elderly person rather than a fellow forum member...

Ageist comment:
And I am also concerned about the elderly going to vote knowing that the team they want to vote for will be in a certain colour... they go out and seek the people in the blue shirts and ask for how to vote cards.
If anyone of any age on the electoral roll is not able to independently chose who they want to vote for and are not capable of filling out a voting form to do so, they should be ineligible to vote.
I am also concerned that the people that do not understand what is happening, the not so politically aware or savvy , the ones that are blindingly trusting in the politicians will not understand what is going on...

Who said people here who queried your post are elderly?
Just because your agesit post is queried doesn't mean that... most people know elderly people .. parents, parents-in-law, elderly neighbours, aunts or uncles... none of whom fit in with what you assume they do.
