I remember Rodd 'Camille being popular. I have a silver sweet (forks & spoons) set & 2 serving spoons of Rodd Gainsborough (presents).

I've got sambonet stuff, it's lasted 20 years and we use it as our every day stuff. ours is pretty plain, not fancy swirly stuff.

i like to buy single pieces i like in op shops.
there are so many different patterns and shapes! why have one when you can have many different ones you like?
our cutlery drawer is overflowing as i can not throw out pieces i like. one has so beautiful flowers on them, the other one has a stunning art deco pattern, another one is just too cute....how could i possibly decide for just one style?

I like a set, to me bits and pieces of different patterns is like ummm you're not sure which one you like the best, disorganised, patched up because you lost some
