DDU can I ask you about your chooks? You do have chooks don't you?
Roughly what sort of cage do you have i.e. wooden? How many chooks & what/how much do you feed them? I searched chook houses on ebay, do you suggest a good one?


Klarry what is needed to fox proof a chook house? We were thinking wire underneath and perhaps sleepers too? Are snakes & rats a problem?

Has ms clucky had any luck and is she still keeping her beak to herself?

oh, and you can still go camping with gdaughter...sheets (or the tent in the lounge room) torches, sleeping bags (ofcourse, you toddle off to your comfy bed once the little angel has fallen asleep), no telly, singing songs etc....and after that she'll probably never ask to go camping again LOL

I was just saying to my husband, I don't like not having her here, yeah sure it's peaceful but we miss the little bright spark 😞

Can't see her for two or three weeks now 😞

I stuffed another egg under mrs clucky today, that's 3, that's the last one :^O

re camping in the loungeroom funny! Yes we did decide that 6 days was probably a bit much for a first camping trip and we might try a 2 day trip when she's nearing 3. She's 3 in January
