Oh wow Clair it looks kinda cool, we had rain this morning but sunny and lovely this afternoon. They say a cold snap is on it's way, might be coming off your snow.

Lovely pics clair!
It makes me want to rug up and walk through a snowy forest. It must be really nice to wake up and look out at your view. Good to hear you've settled into your new home and that it's nice and quiet.
I don't remember if I've told you this but ages ago I read an article about how to stop roosters crowing EARLY in the morning. They have to stretch their head up to crow, so if you put a piece of wood or something above where they sleep......not so they're cramped just low enough so they can't stretch their heads up, they can't crow....and if it doesn't work you can use the wood to bop them on the head....problem solved (laughing smiley).
Hope you get more snow over night and can make a snowman tomorrow.

LMAO! I accepted your post soul as a solution (to this thread)
Yes I have heard of that before however I don't think he's being too bad, I have put shade cloth over the wire front of the coop in an attempt to keep it darker longer inside. I just don't think he's being as loud as the last place when there were roosters all around and they seemed to call/compete with each other.

You could make him a tall rooster bonnet clair, pleased you have moved in and are settled.
Hi soul, hope you're doing well.
