What is the theory behind the word r a p e being reduced to **bleep** like its a smutty unacceptable word that must not be spoken here on Community Spirit?
R a p e is a serious and all too common occurence in our society and already is kept hidden by too many victims who feel the stigma of shame that society in general has attached to it.
It should be, NEEDS to be, freely discussed without any connotations of it being a dirty word.
By bleeping it out you are contributing to the stigma.
If you have a social conscience at all you will fix this immediately.

Thanks Az, you're right, I didn't, because I thought that after all this time that was common knowledge. When it appeared that it wasn't the case, I made the statement.

The mods are not allowed to interact on the boards.
So if you want a question answered by a mod, you have to contact them by PM, which it appears, Pepe has done.
why didn't you post that earlier ?
My deepest apologies, there is no wind here atm, so I didn't get your smoke signal summonsing me and the carrier pidgeon didn't knock.
LOL I was meaning why didn't you post that to the OP earlier re the opening post which Reads
Dear Mods
you could have done it in #30 where you gave this advice
The "New Community Experience" Board is not part of the Trading Boards.
With all due respect, please don't have the audacity to tell me how, when or where I am permitted to post. Nor require an explanation as to why or when I choose to do so.
I don't think she was audacious................... I think she was just asking................

Neither do I Az. A simple and reasonable question on a chat board undeserving of the tenor of the reply.

I know that other posters have already commented on r ape jokes ....
Adrian Ernest Bayley"They should have the death penalty for people like me.
"How many chances does a person need? They should never have let me out."
Earlier this year, the Victorian Government admitted existing laws had failed and tougher measures were needed.
^^^^ r ape is a crime and needs to be taken seriously.Anyone who thinks it's joke material should expect that others may not see it as funny .It's not laughing at **bleep** which is in the interests of public safety .It's stuff like that which contributes to a culture which makes the crime itself seem socially acceptable ,
attitudes which hasn't helped in the past where 'tougher measures' were needed.

thank you for getting this resolved - but seriously - who in their right mind considers rape to belong in the category of smut?
