As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed. The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.![]()
This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.
and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says
The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.
Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.
"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

Immediately after the crash Igor Girkin claimed responsibility on social media for having shot down, which at the time he believed to be military aircraft.
According to defense analyst Reed Foster (from Janes Information Group), the contour of the aluminum and the blistering of the paint around many of the holes on the aircraft fragments indicate that small pieces of high-velocity shrapnel entered the aircraft externally, a damage pattern indicative of an SA-11.
Ballistics specialist Stephan Fruhling of the Australian National Universities Strategic and Defense Studies Centre concurs with this, explaining that since it struck the cockpit rather than an engine it was probably a radar guided, rather than heat seeking, missile equipped with a proximity fuzed warhead such as a SA-11.
Now both your initial expert (the cannon fire one), and in fact every expert have agreed that point of impact, be it from cannon fire or shrapnel was in cockpit. Now in military aircraft the cockpit is located next, to or next to some pretty nasty stuff that can go boom. In a commercial airlines the only thing that could go boom is the fuel located in the wings a long way away from the point of impact of the shrapnel or cannon fire.
But the most telling piece of evidence is, is there was any credible evidence that it was shot down by something other than an SA11, then both the Russians and separatists would have been falling all over themselves to get independent cash investor onto the cash site as quickly as possible, and in the interum they would have quarantined the site and left as intact as possible. Instead they did the direct opposite. That is by the time independent investigators were allowed onto the site it has been pretty much sanitized.
So you can rely on your unnamed German pilot and retired East German Colonel. I think I rely on something a little more credable.

When is our Australian Govt going to DO something about the TOXIC FOODSTUFFS being allowed into Australia....onto our tables from CHINA via NZ?
It works like this: Vegetables from China are sent to New Zealand where they are mixed with big name brands and sent on to Australia where they are sold to the unsuspecting consumer.
This is made possible by a loophole in our trade agreements with Australia and also that country’s unwillingness to adopt country of origin labeling. While it is not mandatory here either most companies at least pay homage to it…
Australian consumer advocate AUSBUY told interest.co.nz the practice was rife and there was nothing that could be done to stop it.
Lynne Wilkinson said any food product sourced from overseas did not have to be labeled as to where it was from…
Not only are the vegetables being sourced from China they are avoiding chemical residue testing by coming through the back door…
The worst chemical found was procymide in a winter vegetable product made in New Zealand from “local and imported products”…
“Pesticide residues in imported produce is a significant issue [in Australia] as there’s basically no gatekeeper”.

Thanks for that Debra, great article. So sad and true as we see reflected on cs. I do think that a lot of people who were led by the nose into believing all the rubbish have well and truly realised they were duped, more and more people all the time - buyers remorse? buyers disgust. 1 year down.
