As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed. The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.
This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.
and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says
The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.
Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.
"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

I do not want TA to lose his office on technicality, I want him to be booted out by his own party. Unless, being PM under false pretences cold result in him having to repay all his salary and expenses.

Are you happy for all your personal details and documents to be available if I requested an FOI Request
And then published them in the media and your local newspaper ?
When you stand for public office you give up your right for privacy. It is a condition of entering parliament not to have second citizenship.

Liberal MP Dennis Jensen has called on Tony Abbott to resign, declaring the Prime Minister a "great wartime leader but not a great peacetime leader".

it seems to be growing in number from the back bench

Why wouldn't I? I have nothing to hide. Obviously not my bank account numbers or credit card numbers!.
My Australian Citizenship certificate I could locate in 30 seconds.
Not at all relevant though, because I am not a Public figure. Local newspaper has much more interesting things to post like publishing the winners of the best cake at the A&P show

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has ruled out directly challenging Tony Abbott for the leadership but reserved the right to put up her hand if someone else moved to force him to declare the position vacant and hold a ballot.
that little paragraph on Julie Bishop is very telling
It's understood Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull has told colleagues the push for change is being driven by the backbench, not by him.
According to some internal estimates, as many as 30 MPs have indicated their desire for a leadership change, raising the chances that next week's return of parliament could see events move quickly beyond the Prime Minister's control.
now they're saying around 30 MP's

directly challenging Tony Abbott
This bit telling?
