Diary of our stinking Govt.

As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed.  The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.Woman Happy

This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.

and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says

The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.

Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).

But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.

"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

Rubbish, and I said 1% and no, pulling it out of the top of my head is not making it up, it is general knowledge.

I was 0.08 percent out actually.

I gave the long term average for China because it is so volatile.

GDP Annual Growth Rate in China averaged 9.08 percent from 1989 until 2014, reaching an all time high of 14.20 percent in the fourth quarter of 1992 and a record low of 3.80 percent in the fourth quarter of 1990.

Current is 7.3%

BTW, the 2%  you quoted was related to WORLD GROWTH, not Australia's GDP.

Nice editing after posting.

Took you a minute to look it up on Google did it ?

"am, oddly enough, some think we actually wrote the articles in the links we post"    No , original contributions are somewhat rare.

Actually I expect people to read/research  what they copiously  C&P,  then proof read what they write here,   because in reproducing others work  (often selectively)  you are endorsing its authenticity,  even if you have to "prize" the information  from your source or it has nor been around for 10 years!

All Ords over the last 2 "smelly" years.

Today

The opening day of China's annual session of parliament has heard the government is predicting solid economic growth this year.

In what will come as good news for Australian exporters, the ******Chinese government has announced a target of 7 per cent GDP growth over the next 12 months.*****

In his opening speech to the National People's Congress China's premier Li Keqiang has said over 10 million jobs would be created in urban areas.

Australia's largest trading partner posted a 7.4 per cent growth rate for the previous year, the slowest since 1990.

See, this post  above it came BEFORE the one you made false accusation about googling in. Enlarged in this  ***sentence so you don't miss it the second time.

9% was an inaccurate, misleading GUESS.

I now expect you to ignore my previous posts and change the discussion onto something else

since you have been totally demolished by your lack of knowledge.

No, not at all.

I was spot on with my 9%, it being 9.08%.

Everyone knows China has been trending down, that is why I used the average because it is so volatile.

You still haven't acknowledge that Hockey was talking about world growth, not Australia's GDP.

You never agree with anything so it doesn't matter.

You haven't got a clue when it comes to the economy or what I was trying to say, or GDP.

You even laughed at what I wrote about Geelong ages ago,
yet now other councils are asking them for advice.

None of that is accurate. As usual you can't stick to the actual points under discussion.
