Diary of our stinking Govt.

As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed.  The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.Woman Happy

This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.

and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says

The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.

Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).

But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.

"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

Yes, add that too.

Post 3 - "BOM is under investigation for manipulation and harmonizing data to suit their agenda."

That is worth a chuckle.   I guess you are new G58,  because I have  had many a "debate"   apropos meteorology, atmospheric physics, global warming, climate change,  anthropogenic CO2/GHG, aeronautical operations with SRBA,  and of course 007

If you had researched G58 you might have noted that I am a staunch supporter of both BOM and CSIRO,  having used the former a lot when I was flying my C180 , and the latter when working in a Government  aviation research laboratory.

Now I just use the BOM when boating in Port Phillip Bay or  down at the Heads when my sons want to do some diving.

Science is my passion.

That's what makes it so laughable that you ignore the rest.

Nothing to do with the female contributors, huh?

Yeah right.  One who has a pair of lips avatar and another who stated their gender.

Meanwhile the claims that there is a conspiracy to falsify BOM data went unchallenged on more than one occasion.

"However, I did see another one of that posters threads which you posted on, so don't claim you never read them."

Accuracy is not important obviously A3.

So far I have said I have not read only the ONE thread you dug up, all of 14 posts and 2 years old, which hardly fits into your ""more serious, ongoing examples."

However,  as you have seen another thread,  post it here, or just add to it so it shows up on the thread list.   Will it be a "more serious, ongoing example."?  and within the accepted history period?

However these chats at least involve some original contributions rather than just C&Ps, accuracy? so what!

Did you read and comment in the recentish BOM thread that suggested they were a conspiracy (or something like that?). OP was vicr, from memory.

This one - http://community.ebay.com.au/t5/Community-Spirit/Why-is-Bureau-of-Met-manipulating-data-re-Cyclone-M...

He couldn't possibly have missed that one, because I did his suggested "RESEARCH" and found he was posting right here in this thread on that date

Re: Diary of our stinking Govt.

The thread I linked to with the opening post as a full quote of Pickering's blog ( unattributed) was a perfect example of what I referred to earlier. Where were the link police, nitpicker's then? Hmmmm.

There were quite a few, not all the same poster. I oftened posted the link for the opening post in those threads as other posters were sucked in to believing the OP's wrote the opening posts.

I NEVER CLAIMED THEY WERE RECENT THREADS - PICKERING POST BLOGS BAGGING GILLARD - honestly what year would you expect them to be written - 2015? Chortle.

I proved my point with the thread I posted as an example - double standards/bias shoeing ( gender, political, BOM conspiracy)

Yes, they are, but we haven't really had any new ones for a couple of weeks. He's trying to change his image and be an "adult" with "good government". ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
