Diary of our stinking Govt.

As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed.  The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.Woman Happy

This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.

and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says

The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.

Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).

But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.

"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

JO: " I love this line in your second article Deb.

"So it would seem the spin doctors and Ms Credlin are catastrophically useless at their jobs, because just when you think Abbott can’t get anymore bizarre, he goes and smashes all his previous records of stupid.."

I  became quite excited at this   "in your second article Deb"    but on checking discovered that the status quo remains, not unexpectedly,  and  C&Ps still rule unabated.  However in this case there  is a little chuckle to be found as the source is that constantly turning ant-clockwise: AIMN,  much absent since some  lieutenants are AWOL.

Even though this article (C&P) is 6 months old, and the others even older,    I have missed the AIMN "articles" from this self styled "independent" red rag and its "citizen journalists"

The question  that now remains is why the sudden need to C&P old material from such a partisan source when plenty abounds today for the choosing,  and  to C&P at will ?

Perhaps he would thus be better suited to the world of forums and C&Ps !

Some of you bang on about Abbot so much, are you all dyed in the wool Labour supporters, or bored and just posting for an argument? Both sides are only interested in themselves, neither side contains a closet Hitler. If you really want to change the world, or Australia, get out there and do it instead of trying to bash readers over the head with "your" views, over and over again.

Art least they have the courage to reveal "their views".   We do not know what posters are doing to "change the world".

I have had time only once to hand out how-to-vote cards.  They were not for Labor, or Liberal, or Nationals, or Greens.   Care to guess?

Actually via C&P of others views though,  often without any individual thoughts, not that the AIMN really counts, or even the Jakarta Post.
