Diary of our stinking Govt.

As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed.  The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.Woman Happy

This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.

and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says

The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.

Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).

But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.

"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

You really have not thought this thru whollistically, have you ?

......I do not like the word or rather phrase 'whack on' because it leads one to believe that what you suggest is an easy operation. Which is a simple lie in this case.

Like whacking a sausage on a hot BBQ.

Easy if you have a hot BBQ and a sausage......heaven help you if you have the BBQ too hot, no oil and no fork/tongs

You gotta know whatcha doin' or all you'll get is lots of smoke, a burnt snagger with the guts blown out & burnt fingers

You really have not thought this thru, have you ?

Ever thought of turning down the heat, leaving the sausages on for less time or even using a stick ?????? Smiley LOL

No wonder men cook when it comes to BBQ's Smiley LOL

NO.

Star Trak are a subsidiary company of Australia Post.

Aust Post would probably have majority share ownership but not necessarily own the whole company. AP may even have majority or all control of ST.

......besides and whatever......still shy te reviews and service for Star Track

A mite bit misleading of you 'lot' on here taking the opportunity on this Diary of our stinking Govt discussion thread to promote a subsidiary company -pushing an agenda here are we?

I wonder which little blue ties enclave has shares and interests in this little 'star'?

.....could even be some overseas based corporate maaaaates that are avoiding company taxes at Australian voters expense?

Stinking of you.......fits the thread LOL Smiley LOL

DEFINITION of 'Subsidiary'

A company whose voting stock is more than 50% controlled by another company, usually referred to as the parent company or holding company. A subsidiary is a company that is partly or completely owned by another company that holds a controlling interest in the subsidiary company. If a parent company owns a foreign subsidiary, the company under which the subsidiary is incorporated must follow the laws of the country where the subsidiary operates, and the parent company still carries the foreign subsidiary's financials on its books (consolidated financial statements). For the purposes of liability, taxation and regulation, subsidiaries are distinct legal entities.
