there was a thread on here recently about a man with prosthetic legs - how harmless did he turn out to be?

Each of the stories mentioned on this thread are about people who failed to co-operate with police. Their own behaviour changed their own lives.
Yeah, blame the victim- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-IsMD9rswk Can you tell me what his crime was?
John T. Williams, a 50-year-old seventh generation Nitinaht carver of the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations, was shot four times by a Seattle police officer on August 30, 2010. He died at the scene. His only crime appears to have been walking across the street carrying a carving knife and a chunk of cedar. . . . http://w11.zetaboards.com/Fun_Factor/topic/10595852/1/
--------------------------------- Can you tell me what Kelly Thomas's crime was?" ----------------------------------
Kelly Thomas (April 5, 1974 – July 10, 2011) was a homeless man diagnosed with schizophrenia who lived on the streets of Fullerton, California. He died after being beaten by Jay Cicinelli, Manuel Ramos, and Joseph Wolfe, three members of the Fullerton Police Department, on July 5, 2011. Thomas was taken to St. Jude Medical Center before being transferred to the UC Irvine Medical Center, where he was comatose on arrival and not expected to recover. He never regained consciousness, and died on July 10, 2011. . . . . . http://w11.zetaboards.com/Fun_Factor/topic/10595779/1/

On Monday, Christopher Beatty and friends were outside an ABC Liquor Store in North Carolina when a plain clothes police officer demanded Beatty, also known as rapper "Xstrav," hand over his can of Arizona brand iced tea. The cop insisted that Beatty hand over the drink due to the suspicion that it contained alcohol, but Beatty was taken to the ground by the officer because the cop didn't identify himself. The rapper was later charged with trespassing among other charges and eyewitness Tino Brown caught the incident on video and gives us his side of how things went down.

Yeah, never the cop's fault. They are just heros saving us, from what, I have no idea. The closest thing i've ever seen to a criminal was police. The Franklin county sheriffs rob, rape, beat, abduct and abuse people, making up any number of crimes that never gets a conviction in court. Then when it becomes aparent that I've done nothing wrong, it all gets swept under the rug, not one single cop had to ever answer for what they did to me. Worse, they keep doing it because they know that no one will ever take my side or hold them accountable. I may as well be their slave existing only for the purpose of their amusment.

They risk their health and life every day on the job.
What risks did you encounter going to work yesterday? Did you need to work out the best way to subdue a crazed, aggressive thief?
ther police force are grouped into the heading that takes number 5 in the most dangerous jobs stakes.....4 times as
many truck drivers, storemen and posties collectively are killed at work

AND you thought your job was tough.
A new report has found that paramedics have one of the most dangerous jobs in Australia, with ambos reporting a higher injury rate than any other group of workers.
Published yesterday in the Medical Journal of Australia, the research analyses Safe Work Australia (SWA) data between 2000 and 2010, finding that paramedics’ risk of injury is seven times higher than the national average.
Surprisingly, the report finds that ambulance officers are more than twice as likely to be injured as cops.

Well, I was going to say something similar a while ago, also about the comment that their work is "one of the hardest", but I knew what the resulting attacks would be like, so I left them to it. It is not possible to converse with tunnel-visioned people.
Perhaps the officer was showing a new recruit "how to assault without leaving marks", as I have said was done in the past.
