This would never have happened in the days of Sir Joh (instert sarcasm here)

I don't understand why people resist arrest......... they look like children throwing a tantrum.
This event also occurred during the G20 weekend......seriously....... anyone who continues to defend this lowlife needs a reality check.
Being critical of police brutality does not equal defending a law breaker, that is just plain silly.

It is completely irrelevant when this crime occurred.
If a child throws a tantrum, in no way should they be assaulted.
I have not seen anyone defending the people who were arrested, some are appalled at the level of force used on them.
Why is the man being called a "lowlife"? Because he committed a crime?
If that is the case many people, including Nelson Mandela, should be labelled as lowlifes.
Here are some Australian politicians for a start.

Still defending him?........ unbelievable.....
The couple will need a solicitor to do that for them when they appear in court.
The word lowlife sums the couple up well......
I'm sure the shop owner who the couple robbed has used much stronger language to describe them..

Neither of them will be the victim when they appear in court.

Unfortunately due to police action he has become the victim 🙂
So are you still selling kiddie's T-shirts with bullet holes printed on the back, Donna?

those tshirts were tacky and no sensible parent would ever buy them, but what on earth do they have to do with this thread?
and no, i'm not speaking for donna, it was just such an obscure thing for you to post in this thread.

Icy's post seems to show which direction the the moral compass of the OP points.
Fairly low it seems....... or should that say south.
actually yes i have read donna's posts and don't see any obsucurity in them.
she states her position quite clearly - she is not against the use of force, she is against excessive, unnecessary force.
Her point of view, which she has explained a few times, appears to be that in this case the punching was umwarranted and therefore she considers it to be a case of police brutality.
Nothing obscure in any of that.
And as an aside I disliked those tshirts, but I also agree with donna on this - based on that video I think the punches were unnecessary.
So which way is my moral compass pointing?
