Oh no. Ernie ate some plastic ducks and went swimming too soon and sank; according to the lone witness.

Answering to no-one in particular, but
Did nothing happen in that whole thread pimpy had
about how many pics were allowable?
Still nothing in the rules I see.
Now we have to scroll through 5 or 6 in the one post!?
Cranky old lady here has given up

lurker, I've noticed the Aussies have stepped back
and given it some thought.
And it shows in the photos. I have a HD monitor
and a lot of these photos are beautiful and crisp.
But the ones that are being dumped by the dozen -
maybe one or two are in focus. But that's it.
It's really doing my head in

I think some aussies have stepped back because they just don't know what people want anymore. I have tried to re-assess what I post.
The only thing you can do is scroll past the pics that annoy you.
Oh and this is meant as a "fun" thing, it shouldn't consume Pimpy's life.

Stawka, if you have a problem, perhaps take it up privately with the poster. I think that would be fairer, don't you?

I agree with Roserobin.....I just think what my interpretation would be and kudos accordingly.
For example if the ater is not the main feture of the photo (eg duck on a pond the feature is the duck) then I don't think it captures the theme. Similarly a photo of a body of water...unless it has some exceptional feature eg reflections...I don't kudos. If people were more selective in WHAT they kudos it may help those who don't know what to post.
Lurkers watery signs is a classic example of interpretation that appeals to me. Like Nicnacs photo of "Nicnacs won the lotto"pic on the fantasy thread.
Placing too many rules just discourages newbies to the thread from posting. In the early days of the thread lots of Aussies posted lots of pics but they have refined their entries with experience. Give the newcomers an equal opportunity to learn.
And it isn't Pimpy's repsonsibility to be laying donw the law....she wants to have fun too. And that is what the thread is about isn't it??
Fun, experimentation and lateral thinking!
