No I have never bothered... either I say what I think or I shut up :^O...

BUT people using a different ID to post something they are not brave enough to come out and say honestly?  

Yes there are fair few of those around these boards and, from my point of view, they hold no credibility at all.

Imo, those that use alternative IDs to come into a thread and say things that they would not normally say are in need of some serious self examination, particularly if it is done with malevolence.

Sounds reasonable, but some need to protect themselves as far a 'sellers' id etc, so totally understand why they do it. The boards can be a volatile place.

I have used other IDs to post with if I was selling on that ID and waiting for an auction to finish I would often forget to sign in under my posting ID but everyone knew the other 2 IDs were me so it didn't really matter.

I also found it so confusing I think I ended up fighting with myself, one ID is more than enough to get me into trouble.
