Do you like coriander or cilantro?

I made enchiladas for dinner last night and topped mine with cilantro (coriander).  My husband hates it and says it tastes like soap to him.  Do you like this herb?

Yes, I like it (fresh). Common in Thai cooking.

That's what I read when I googled cilantro and Australia.  I was trying to find out if you used cilantro in your country and the website said it was used in a lot of Thai dishes.

I like coriander but don't use it in my regular cooking. My Indian neighbour uses it a lot. Chinese restaurant I went to with my Grandson last Saturday served sprigs of it on a side dish along with bean sprouts to put in our noodle soup.

I love fresh coriander.  I usually eat half of it before it even finds its way to a meal.

Funny, tastes like both soap and double deja vu to me.

It's about the only herb that people seem to love or hate. I love it. To me it adds so much to a dish ... Thai beef salad ... pico de gallo ... pea and ham soup ... lots of Indian dishes ...

I'm interested ... do people dislike the leaves, stems and seeds or just some parts? Is it just the fresh leaves/stems or dried herbs as well?
