Probably the same.

Someone summed it up perfectly-when it comes to abuse, there is always another substance.

On the whole, I think the world is fine with alcohol but some individuals could do with lifting their game.

Without alcohol. the ecosystem of Planet Earth, probably wouldn't exist.

alcohol: a colourless volatile flammable liquid which is produced by the natural fermentation of sugars

any organic compound whose molecule contains one or more hydroxyl groups attached to a carbon atom.

All fruit when crushed or rotten will have naturally occurring alcohol. As long as there is sugar, yeast and water alcohol will happen.
