"couldn't be 1 in 33 cos that is 1/3 of the population, "
no ... 1 in 33 ... 1/33 of the population.

Ok, clearly I'm not the Math genius, can you work this out?
what score that chart attributes to the top .15 of a percent and top 2.1%?
Then we will be comparing apples with apples.

You don't need a genius IQ to have a good BS detector - and mine's spinning off the dial at the moment.

I have known a person with a graphic total recall, it is a bit scary.
This person has a high I.Q. but on top of that he has total recall, I was a bit sceptical so i decided to put it to the test.
I chose a rare book from the bookshelf and got him to read a couple of pages and them said to him that some time in the future i will ask if he remembered what was on those pages. It was in fact a technical book on electro magnetic wave theory.
I then put a bookmark in the book and placed it in the safe.
around 4-5 months went by until he came to visit again and I asked him if he remembered our test and was he prepared to put it to the test
He said sure so I got the book from the safe and opened it up at the bookmark and asked him to describe what he had read.
What came next floored me.
He closed his eyes and read from his memory what was written word for on those 2 pages.
To take it one step further i asked if he could remember the first and last word on each line
Total recall

If the charts accurate, and I'm reading it correctly.....
147-148 = .15%
132-133 = 2.1%
And Bump is among .0014% of the population.

that's pretty cool.
do you know if they could comprehend what they memorized as well.
I know someone who I spose you could say has a photographic memory, and they can recite stuff back, but it doen't mean they actually understand what they are reading iykwim.
they actually find comprehension very hard, especially in stories, though facts they are excellent with.
but their reading accuracy is excellent, they just don't do so well with understanding.

OK, given population of 7,000,000 - 2.1 % is roughly 147,000 so what the chart says is that 147,000 worldwide have an IQ of 169 or above.
