That Math equation is as simple as memorizing a math rule. BOMDAS or BODMAS. it has absolutely no relevance to a person's IQ or their intellectual ability and performance.
if you were not aware o9f the rule or had never been taught it, or used it so infrequently as to have forgotten it existed then you could not do that sum.
Then you wouldn't make a big deal out of everyone else who agreed on the correct answer (the majority) being wrong then, when in fact they were right and other person making the fuss was wrong.

If so, I don't have to prove anything to you.
If you don't want to believe me then that is fine.
i want to learn.
I am interested in what norms they apply.
if only .15 of a percent of the population have an IQ over 145 (this is the accepted international levels), then the chances of 3 people in Australia having an IQ over 160 are so slim, it is incomprehensible to me. and even more incomprehensible that a university would have found enough test subjects for a trial test, possibly part of some person's PHD, for substantive results, which is evidenced by the fact that no such test is recognized, wither here or overseas and definitely not by Mensa, the leading body for those diagnosed as Gifted and Talented.
Now, I'm pretty sure that if such a test existed that was substantive and accurate that at least Mensa would know about it, or is it some kind of International secret that only you are allowed to know about?

Joz, have you ever considered that what you have been led to believe is a problem may not be?
Plants actually like the idea of added co2 and a rise in temperature animals don't mind either, more plants =more food.
More food=more animals and the cycle continues.
Also plants, animals and people are adaptable to their environment and have been for many millions of years. Evolution can not be brought to a standstill and should not be.

he made no fuss, he made one post - I remember it well. he was wrong, he didn't apply the rule - it was everyone else who tried to humiliate him and ridiculed him and made a big deal out of it.
anyway....

Hello, everyone. This thread is getting a little off-topic.
Could we please bring the discussion back to the topic, and try to be civil about it.
You can always disagree without being interpersonal about it.
Thanks!

its not a question of what ive been led to believe, i have drawn my own conclusions
Plants actually kike the idea of added co2 and a rise in temperature animals don't mind either, more plants =more food.
More food=more animals and the cycle continues.
i do believe too much of anything is no good for you
Also plants, animals and people are adaptable to their environment and have been for many millions of years.
Evolution can not be brought to a standstill and should not be.
this is not true, life on earth has suffered many extinctions
anyway i didnt want to get into a climate change debate with you on this thread, as, we're going off topic, i just wanted to make a point in response to your post... as i do regard you highly, except that one little thing about climate change

I'm firmly of the opinion that the main thing that really smart people know, is what they DON'T know!
I keep telling my kids to never think that they are the smartest person in the room.
Cheers,
Marina.
