my old tyre pressure guage was rounded at one end and the guage part could be pulled up out of the top if you had the nails to grab it it hard enough. I did have the same clip and came in a black velvet pouch though...

I get what you mean Deb, but I think the bit that goes on the valve
is a fatter shape and on an angle
The gauge will only come out under pressure^^

Dip pens don't have an ink reservoir. You 'dip' them in the inkwell and write.
Used to use them myself - back when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
Dip pens are also on google : - )
