Imagine being in an area waiting for the NBN, that is going to be the last one to be rolled out.. at least 11 years away from now. I know that wouldn't change much which either party was in Govt. However, won't it be out of date by then (considering it has been 3 years approx already,since the first test areas went live)??

That is will make it at least 14 years from start to finish...that is a long time for technology.

Where I live they are cancelling  ALL ADSL services and landline via copper in 12-18mths. Only NBN services will be available here. Other areas will wait up to 11 more years to even get the NBN.
