PM material do you think?
Undecided voters cheered him, makes you wonder whether they were really undecided.
It's not what you do in a debate in my view.
Penny Wong has described Tony Abbott as aggressive. I maintain he is a bit of a thug.

abbott's a devious mass debater, and a troll.
rudd won the debate, proved his capability to ignore the tony troll's attempt to bait him, to try to best him as a person, by belittlement,
tried to divert the conversation from the real issues. he exposed abbott for failure to declare liberal's budget costin's, for their job loss plans, for their enormously-expensive paid parental leave programme (paid for by other australians, it would now appear), for their
slavish old ideas on work choices, etcetera
and finally, he exposed abbott for all to see, for his flamin' extreme arrogance
do australian want this offensive pig to be our future spokesperson, no, we flamin' don't
Who are the we you refer to? And trolls? There were no trolls last night lol

TS, are you seriously giving a character reference and determining truth of someone's statement by a picture ?
If so we don't need the cost of the legal system .Maybe Tony can get rid of that ?

He said it to a PM and publicly, in front of the audience as well as all viewers ....and today as well as in the future anyone reading about it in that context ...here in Australia and overseas .
And many were saying it and thinking it before hand....we ceryainly were here. My daughter had only moments before said "does he ever shut up or know when to?"

TS, would you want our PM going overseas and saying that publicly to another Country's PM ?
If not Why is it OK for Tony Abbott to do it here to our PM ?

I agree to a degree. In comparison with how some of the European political leaders debate, this is NOTHING.
I do believe however, there is no need to be rude towards people who are just doing their jobs such as make up artists or flight attendants. It also gives you an insight into the true character.

of greatest concern to me is the prospect of having a leader of our Country who thinks saying "everything I did was justified and can be justified" excuses him of any and all wrongdoing...even to the extent of being involved with the jailing of inncocent Australians

I'm not sure what you mean, Iza. Can you expand on that a little more? Examples perhaps?
