I don't care whether this guy (Wil) was gay or not - he apparently put himself out there - on social media.
For his convictions.
Sadly his ' convictions ' didn't include others.
He threw himself in front of a train - with no thought of the driver, the bystanders.- the consequences.
Screwed - just screwed.
So...he doesn't deserve the compassion as shown here for other homosexuals?

@icyfroth wrote:No really. As a homosexual, you're out of the social norm.
Would you not expect to be treated as outside of the social norm? Would you expect to be treated as "just another guy"?
Would you not associate with a certain group of ppl who accept you as their "normal"?
I mean, really.
Not being mean to homosexuals, just trying to fit them in.
Really? Have you been living under a rock?
No.

Is it your up bringing or have you just turned out this way.
Are you picking on me just because I'm different?

Different isnt quite the word I would have used.

People should be entitled to their opinions without being attacked all the time.
Just saying.....

Doesn't make sense. Attitudes like yours is the cause of their pain.
I would expect people in this day & age to understand/study & accept the complexity of their own species
Why pain, then, if it's so natural to be homosexual? It's not. Natural, meaning according to nature, is heterosexual.
(sighs patiently) the pain was not because he was homosexual but because people abused him for being homosexual.
If you're homesexual, you're different. Live with it and be yourself. Of course ppl wiil pick on you. It's not so complex. You like to interact sexually with ppl of the same gender as yours. What's complex about it?
So does the same reasoning apply to the treatment of Jews, Nuslims, Aboriginals, people of Asian, Middle Eastern or African appearance? After all they also differ from the 'norm' here in Australia. We've seen videos posted here of people being racially abused on trains - is this something they should expect and the rest of us should tolerate?
It goes on and has so for as long as humans have walked the earth
So should we simply shrug our shouldrs and turn a blind eye to it?
No need to challenge ppl by shoving your sexual preference in their faces
What exactly do you mean by this? Was he having s*x with his boyfriend in public?

What are you suggesting (again)? So you support Icy and her views and those of us who have opposing opinions are a mob ganging up on her. What rubbish. We are responding to the comments. I don't think your little ploy will work here - it's far too transparent.

And I care what you or your bullying cronies think?

I don't believe the "pain" was because he was homosexual. I believe it was because he tried to force his views onto ppl who just weren't in the same frame.

Let's try and stick with one topic at a time, shall we?
It goes on and has so for as long as humans have walked the earth

No. We should accept it, and move on.

I don't know about that, but if you're homosexual, fgs, live with it, and don't make yourself out to be a victim, because it's against the norm, and you know it is.
