So does the same reasoning apply to the treatment of Jews, Nuslims, Aboriginals, people of Asian, Middle Eastern or African appearance? After all they also differ from the 'norm' here in Australia. We've seen videos posted here of people being racially abused on trains - is this something they should expect and the rest of us should tolerate?

I don't believe the "pain" was because he was homosexual. I believe it was because he tried to force his views onto ppl who just weren't in the same frame.
