Exactly. But the question is whether drag queens meet that criteria simply because of their membership in a particular group? Or is it the people who believe they are "dishonest and immoral influencers" that the children should be ignoring in all instances?

I grew up on farms - where my little, tiny, impressionable mind absorbed a lot more about life, death, where babies come from and the propensity of some over excited male creatures to hump anything they could wrap their legs around, than it would ever have done  sitting in a library istening to stories read by a drag queen.

I'm quite sure in Australia the checks & balances are well done.

All entertaining Drag Queens have to hold a Blue Card.

• The events are child-appropriate and are staged by trained performers who are Blue Card registered.

Therefore totally up to the discretion of individual parents - ie - those who actually have kids.
