Thank you Stawks.

That shed light on a troubled soul.

There is too much wrong with this world we have.

Thank you all - for the links - already read - and understood - when they appeared days ago.

I was commenting on his family's response to the death of their - Son & Brother.

It was a lovely insight into a family - saddened by their loss.

Cyber-bullying is usually a group of people intent on following, negatively commenting, any way they can.

They aren't satisfied until they feel they have made an impact or get them to leave.  I believe you are aware of something similar?

Chat forums are structured thus:

Two warring factions - Them and Us.

The Thems are always evil sods.

The Usses little less than Gods.

But who is which or which is who

depends upon you point of view.Woman Very Happy

I should clarify that by adding that both the particular chatboard and ebay group on which I post consist of people who all respect each other's opinions - even when they don't agree with them. and should  I occasionally wander onto a chatboard full of Thems, it's not hard to avoid unpleasantness.Google chrome provides a natty litle X on the right hnad side of each website tab - one clck and the forum disappears.

What happens when one warring faction ceases and the other continues needlessly though?

Why don't they just quit or is it such a bad indepth hate habit, they don't know how to or when. That is certainly sad isn't it.

If the  other faction was posting on a different forum you wouldn't know unless you went looking for it.

If it was posting  on the same  forum, then I'd fidget the digit and find a more congenial one.

An option that was not vailable to those being bullied at the library.

I am aware of two factions elsewhere who have been going at each other for years. The language and abuse is disgusting. And I am referring to older adults. They seem unable to tolerate peaceful periods - the boredom must be unbearable. The only conclusion I could reach is they behave this way because they are nasty, hateful and cruel people. They thrive on hurting others. Unfortunately, they are out there and in bucketfuls.

Yep, agree.

They thrive on it. They need to find something useful to do. Time to let it go.

I've experienced bullies from both sides, i can be a bully too - back @ 'em.. it's easy to do.

But yeah, Ya gotta wonder at the mind set on GP.. just sit back with their group think commentary "in public"

I just laugh these days

Signatures suck.

Cyber-bullying is much more than 'words on a screen'.

The people who do it, probably try and just think that to justify their actions and deflect from any responsibility.

It depends on how hooked you are on reading what people write about you. I've probably hada few  unpleasant things said about me on twitter over the years, but I'll never know because I'm not a twit - never have been - and my Facbook page is only viewble by friends.

Deflecting won't work.
