So I start my own dumb question thread - which I probly be the only one asking - ha ha
But I wanna know: When you buy a roast chicken from the supermarket and theres some left - when do you put it in the fridge? When its still hot or do you leave it out to cool down or what?
And yes I am serious.............

Karli - so when its cold?
OMG - ha ha
And Karli - what is a milk jug? When do you use that? Do you put milk in it and put it on table?? What for?
Milk jug was just the word I used. jug, glass, mug makes no difference.
At school we were told to rinse containers that had had milk in them in cold water so the milk fat didn't stick so I always rinsed milk from containers in cold water. Now I sometimes use a jog to heat milk for coffee and I have not yet worked out whether hot or cold rinse works best. I'm leaning towards hot rinsing as cold seems to leave the container greasy.

When I buy a cooked chicken for dinner when I go shopping it goes straight in the fridge as soon as I get home, and yes, it's still pretty warm. I don't know which way is best either.
