Dumb things that people say

Who is that guy that keeps saying "let's be crystal clear about this" " i want to be crystal clear" etc etc

Does he mean something else? I really don't get it.

obama used it as well. various LNP pollies have also, its standard pollie-speak( or was). but you know how they tended to zero -in on Gillard, everything she did was worse for some reason. probably due to a mostly partisan press.

I saw an interview once, can't remember who was being interviewed, but the interviewer said 'at the end of the day' and the interviewee replied 'at the end of what day'

I have been cautious about using 'at the end of the day' since because I dont know what day either.
