Easter Special: The Historicity of the Resurrection.

Without using "faith, is it possible to prove historically that Jesus Rose from the Dead?

These are the main evidence for the resurrection of Jesus based on foremost Christian Apologists.

Jesus was crucified

Tomb was found empty

Women are reported as Witnesses to his empty tomb

Jesus' followers and Paul(an Enemy) saw Jesus after he died. 

The best explanation is that Jesus Rose from the dead according to apologists. 

Do these "facts" convience you?

Only zombies rise from the dead, therefore, if Jesus did "rise from the dead" then he musn't have been dead in the first place.

Not sure about the 'zombie' part though, voodoo is a very strange belief.

Yes Mr. Rabbitearbandicoot, that particular religion does teach that as 'truth'.     In my opinion, there is no such thing as 'truth' in any religion, but there are bad/evil people in all religions as well as in the secular world, which kind of defeats the purpose of the whole religious idea.   Sad really.

Even if I grant all the supposed facts. Do you think the best conclusion is that Jesus rose from the dead?

Supposely a magician made someone disappeared. 1000s of people witnessed it. It's caught on film. No one can explain how he managed to do it. Is the best explanation that it's a miracle???

No. They teach that we are  on earth to prove ourselves worthy of being a God with our own planet to be God over. It's also in their Book of Mormon that all black races are cursed by God.  There is a lot more too which prompted me to say that "Mormon" and "Truth" don't belong in the same sentence / context.

Yes, I have met good Mormons as I have met good Catholics, good Baptists etc - as you say, there are good and bad in all religions.

No.   In my opinion, he either recovered from his injuries when crucified and went on until he really did die, or he died from his crucifixion and was dead just like all humans are when their body shuts down.

No again.    Graphics can be great deceivers, technology is the 'miracle'.   Conversely, it's easy to bend spoons in front of thousands and convince them it's real too, as it is to 'create' aliens and otherworld entities.
