Re: Ebay Community Boards In For Another Change

I hope all gets forgiven and all the banned members (sellers) are welcomed back as I have forgiven

ebay for wrongfully banning all sellers.

So come on ebay get the community all back here on ebay and make it a more happier place Woman Very Happy

Can't see it happening here.

For a start, they have interaction with ebay reps on the US boards.

They also have a board manager.   UK also has a board manager.

We don't have any of that.

The UK board manager is now part the US board manager.

It also introduced a new community manager in the US, "Alan@eBay" (who is Alan Aisbitt), replacing eBay's former Director of Community Jeff Terrell, who left the company last year. Aisbitt was head of community at eBay UK for 3 years, and has been with eBay since 2009.

We don't have any of that.

His last post on their boards was on the 8/8/19

Hello everyone,

I would like to share some news, this week, I am going to be leaving my current role in the UK Community and I will be leading community development over in eBay HQ in San Jose, California. I am currently packing up all my belongings and preparing for the big move Smiley Happy

While I won't be posting here any longer I will still be directly involved in the future of the UK Community and I will be working closely with ilona_uk@ebay.com & our new team member sarah_uk@ebay.com. Welcome Sarah!!!

I would like to thank you all for your participation while I've been here over the last 3 years, I have learned so much from you and I really enjoyed getting to know you all, your insights have led to lots of improvements and bugs been squashed on the eBay site so well done to you all!!!!

I am forever grateful, thank you!
Alan

Re: Ebay Community Boards In For Another Change

We still don't have a board manager.

And it would be really extra special nice if someone from ebay

could help out and advise on the buying/selling boards lke they do in the US

Instead of behaving like we're something stuck under their boots, that they've

stepped in.

Re: Ebay Community Boards In For Another Change

perhaps they have got desperate and think declining community interaction is the cause of poor sales on ebay.
