I think Pyne likes the system where kids like him can be sheltered from those public school cretins, at all costs.  If their parents cared about their education they would pay a high price for it.

Re: Education discussion between Pyne and Garret on Q&A

I was very interested to hear that Pyne has two children with special needs... I think that gives him an insight as to what we need for our kids...

I was also a bit stunned to hear that schools do not even know what funding they will be getting next year...

having worked on the P & C for three years and discovering what time lead schools need to be able to work out programs I know that the six months that they will be given is disgusting.

But it was nice of the government  to give a bit of an extension to public schools in regards to extending some funding... why did they only give it to public schools?

I have to go out... but will love to continue this discussion.... chat later.

That's funny I could have sworn Garrett said the private school had been given an extension of the current funding until the changes are implemented.

Yes, it really is disgusting that schools will be getting a better funding deal with only 6 months notice.

yes, disgusting :^O

pyne is fortunate in terms of his own kids with special needs as he can afford to pay. he isn't too bothered about those that cannot that's for sure.
