What is this drug like??
does it make you drowsy and tired??
I have been told I might need to consider it for major pain problems right now.

It is used for depression and or strong pain...
I had it for depression and had dry mouth and dizziness, but didnt help the depression.

the doctor has suggested it for Fibromyalgia pain..
did a bit of a read up on it but I like to get peoples experiences..
If it is used for depression then probably not the best option as I have to consider the BiPolar implications....

Yeah, maybe look into it more.

Di-gesic, is what my DD takes for CFS, which is similar to Fibro, she says it helps the pain alot.
Might be worth looking at.

I have heard DiGesic is a good for fibro pain but I took that when I was a teen and had a major flip out on it and took the whole box... was a mothers day and I will never forget it as I was in hospital getting my stomach pumped while my mum freaked out about why I did that...
apparently a really rare side effect is suicidal tendencies..

Have you ever tried acupuncture?
I once had a doctor who was very good at using it for pain.

I have tried accupuncture.. and massages, and chiro, and hypnotherapy and even done a pain management course... had xrays and MRI...
I am just having a major flare up on one arm... was fine but I am back to work tomorrow after two weeks holiday... the pain was so bad I could not sleep last night..
BUT.. I will see if I can't find an acupuncturist. Never hurts to go back to what once worked...
I have private health cover to help pay for that sort of stuff.

Yrs ago I had acupuncture for my back pain, and it worked for awhile, worth a try.
I have just been on a short course of morphine for my spinal pain and also anti inflamatory tablets, just a week, and that worked and stoped the pain.
I tried other pain killers but nothing worked, so dr. put me on the above and it isnt too bad now.
Maybe talk to your dr. about other pain killers for a short time.

It's extremely addictive. I wouldn't take it. Or if you do then it should only be short term.
