What an absolute amazing talent she was. I saw them in concert back in the early 90s, and it would arguably be one of the best concerts I've been to. (Neil Diamond was right up there!). I've listened to the Seekers since I was a little kid, and still play them in the car if I'm doing a trip.
She had a horrific car accident in the 80's, which took her from the stage, and nearly cost her her life. Julie Anthony (the St George bank lady) took her place, and to be fair, did a pretty good job. It took many years of recovery, but she finally made it back on stage.
To see her perform live was an absolute joy, and a night I'll never forget.
