Equlity. Good thing or not?

The question is:-

Should all people be equal?

Give ita bit of thought before you answer.

If you answer Yes

Why did you answer in the affirmative?

Describe the :"equal" person that everyone should modeled on

If you answer No

Why did you answer in he negative?

choosing or believing that there is an ideal is inequality imo

That would be more coveting than inequality. Everyone should be afforded the same opportunities and be provided with the same benefits - what people choose to do with the same opportunities etc is a different matter.

But if everyone was equal there would be no such thing as elitism.

Elitism, by definition, implies inequality

the eradication of elitism is a step closer to equality also

If so, were you just paying lip service to the illusion of "equality'?

lip service is a means to an end , in this case justifiable. of course i said 'Yes'

In affording everyone the same opportunities to ideally be able achieve similar best outcomes may involve allowing a guide dog in public places where dogs aren't otherwise permitted, planning buildings and remembering not everyone has working legs ....remembering there is not an 'ideal' human ...we are not clones.

I get the feeling there is a point too but nobody has provided the right answer  for the punch lineyet LOL

Maybe it is an excersize in synapse stimulation 😉

And yes there is a point, it is to highlight that so many people  are in persuit of the illusion of equality and they draw comparisons between themselves and others.

Perchance these words of wisdon (not mine sadly) may generate some synaptic activity

If there was equality there would be no need for opertunities everyone would be equal.

Opertunities are only sought  if a person wants to be unequal and individualistic
