No, not presumptious - Bob has never answered any of my questions (as a newboy you wouldn't know) - a little sarcastic perhaps but, trying to get Bob to answer an explicit question like the one above, without his going into a ramble about something else entirely is a bit of a chanllenge.
It is a little impossible to discuss Religion amicably when Evolutionists call me idiot for believing, offer up all sorts of theories but will not discuss why x = y - instead just say 'read a science book'. Well, I accepted their challenge and read "Species" from cover-to-cover, but they still say "read another".
and now, someone supplies a link to a site, which I have discussed at length before, about so called Contradictions in the Bible, and then expect me to spend HOURS debunking each entry - again. I have neither the time nor the inclination to spend those MANY HOURS and then have my responces ignored or at best glossed over.
This is also typical. Someone makes a statement - I take it as a question and put up my response and no more is heard of it. Neither a "I see what you mean" nor a "You are up yourself". IF someone is GENUINELY INTERESTED in my viewpoint then I will spend the time necessary to explain, but, on this site - I have learned my lesson well - ie that there is no-one interested in anything but getting my response and pulling it to bits and making FUN of me/my beliefs.
No, not paranoid - just realistic.
