Chamo, do they have trees for shade
Yes the sheep have access to several acres of malle scrub. Just checked the forecast again and BOM have uprated the max temperature for Friday to 48 degrees. That is the highest forecast maximum I have ever seen for that area. Hope no fires break out.

We're due 43 on Saturday, which will apparently be a record. Not sure if it's for December or ever, but I can't remember too many days over 40 and those have normally been 40 or 41.
43 is 110 in the old money, which I consider hot.

People are angry because PM Morrison is on holidays while the country heats up.

Reminds of the mid 70s when SA Premier Don Dunstan turned back the Tsunami.
It's amazing what one person can do

It's about perceptions. Those of the rest of us. Like the significant proportion of the population threatened by bushfires or choking on the smoke from them.
ScoMo obviously doesn't consider he needs to be here and be shown to care, even if it's only to mouth platitudes and denial.
I'd have thought he would have his holiday at Cronulla beach, not Waikiki. Shows how much of a 'Shire boy' he is.

IMO A TRUE leader would be visiting the drought stricken farmers/ fire affected areas and working on ways to support those affected by these disasters .... NO he cant stop it from happening but he can show cares just a little ( but does he?) ..... But IMO Morrison is not and will never be a true leader, personally I find him a bit of joke

We have extreme heat waves every year - same ol' same ol'. But the bush fires are a worry.

I know that. However, when I was a teenager I was working as a labourer and the temperature outside on some days was around 50C. I was sick and had to drink water every 5 minutes. I also remember a Christmas day around that time when the swimming pools were opened because the temperature was in the very high 40s. While the temperature records have been broken over the last 20 years, I have not experienced such high temperatures as I did when I was a young man. But that was over 20 years ago lol.
