We are getting it from around Thursday ๐

Heading out to my remote farm tomorrow to babysit the sheep through the heatwave. Temps of 45 & 46 forecast for the next couple of days and culminating with 47 forecast for Friday. On the couple of other days we have had those sorts of temps, birds have actually died from the heat.
It will also undoubtedly send the rams infertile for 8 weeks. This is prime " Ram Time " to give us a April / May Lambing so anyone planning a traditional Autumn lambing is in trouble. This is starting to become a problem for sheep producers and so I have put the rams out a little bit earlier to try to address it, but then you can run into problems of no green feed for lambs and lambing in the last of the summer heat in March.

Yep.
But this is just natural variation. Nothing to do with climate change. Just like half the country burning in spring.
Nothing to see here...
