we've been lucky in Melb... our temps have been under average for most days.. but we get the odd extreme day... we're going from 25 today,to 43 tomorrow and then back to the 20's again..It's pretty weird really

Yeah, I'm not complaining - yet.

Temps have been bearable.

Must be horrible in SA

I can take one day at a time Stawka..  but a few days of over 40 in a row is a killer

My old stomping ground, Mildura, is supposed to hit 47c tomorrow. I worked down there the last 2 summers,outdoors, where it reached 44-46c on a number occasions plus the odd 47c and it knocks the stuffing out you sitting on that red sand for 10 hours per day.

difficult to sleep....a/c going 24/7...sweep fans are all on...have just put soaker hose on for birds....normally 100s of flies...not 1 to be seen....it's eerie

its 30c inside but considering the outside temp 30 feels good.

I feel your pain....just have a look at Ceduna & Mt Gambier Temps!! Beggars belief!
