Budgie, Woolies makes an apple shampoo ... it's not as good as the green gel one I used to use as a teen ... but it does have that apple smell.

4711 cologne ... it hasn't changed (except in price) from my childhood days.

My house is smelling pretty darn good ATM.

Had too many over-ripe bananas so I made

a huge banana cake in a bundt tin as well as

12 banana/choc chip muffins.

Pity I don't like 'em.................but everybody else does

I curse my nose sometimes. I am sure I have an acute sense of smell.

I like freesias, but don't smell them much up here. perhaps its a wonderful Melbourne memory.

I know there was a discussion about coriander/cilantro but I am one that just loves it. Just tear the leaves, basil too.

And I have been away with work for about 4 days. Best smell is my little dog on my lap (chi x).

Smells familiar and comforting just like a warm blanket xxx

Congratulations on the cooking, Stawka ...

I don't like banana cakes ... EXCEPT ... with mocha icing. It's normal chocolate/butter icing with coffee added ... and that makes the cake edible, lol.

Icy, I have a frangipani tree just outside my balcony ... but the flowers are up too high to see or smell. I should (maybe) have pruned them back a month or so ago.

Any ideas?

Any ideas with  frangipani trees? Nuh. Never had one. Tried growning them from cuttings, I believe it's very easy, but I never stayed around to see them grow. Life happened. There's plenty in my neighborhood though.

You'd still smell them though, surely, even if they're not at eye level. They have a very strong fragrance

Not a whiff, Icy ... no scent at all.

I think they were planted about 40 years ago ... I'm not sure if the scent deteriorates over time???
