I have to do a menu for a fund raiser. I have to do it as a Soup Kitchen and I need to get ideas for the different types of soups that we can serve.

Yes, you can. My kids used to collect them off the ground and sell them for $1 a bag ๐
Mind you, I never did eat anything they made out of the acorns.

Depends on the cost of the ingredients and what's in season, as well, if making in large quantities, e.g. Tomato soup would be very expensive to make.
i cheated and made it with tinned tomatoes last time - nobody knew the difference.

Butternut or Japala pumkin with corn soup made with vegetable stock was popular with the vegetarians. The type of pumkin depended on what was cheapest at the time
