Cat i agree with you. I googled the definition, and it is certainly not one that even I, as shallow as I apparently am, would use, far less if I were the Prime Minister during a public broadcast.
Of all the people who really need to be at least seen to be politically correct, surely our PM would have to be at the front of the queue?
It would be nice to think though that people were finally getting over the current OTT political correctness pervading our society.

I would not mind but if I need to be so politically correct then so can they...
Calling anyone a nutjob is so low grade... for a PM that thinks that education is so important I wonder why she uses such gutter language.

Ain't ya got no cultcher??? not as far as the PM is concerned, rotten to the core, nutjobs & other spiteful nasty jibes is her stock in trade.
Don't worry though, she's going, going, will be gone within 2 weeks then where will all the women for Gillard go then? X-(
Would she have been 'rotten to the core' if she'd called Howard Sattler a nutjob? Though on reflection 'Big job' might have been more appropriate.

Cat, I have a recognised mental illness and I dont find the term 'nutjob' offensive. I use the term myself.

I didn't even think about the education angle - my thoughts gravitated towards the insensitivity shown to many people who may one day need to use her NDIS scam scheme, people about whom she apparently has such care for. I mean, she even shed a tear, didn't she? Didn't I see somewhere all this condemnation of her shedding a tear because she was so moved by something to do with all of this?
I just wonder what the reaction would have been by the same people on this thread had it have been said by somone from the opposition.
I reckon it would have been held up as an example of the disregard they had.
any way.
*sigh*
