Hi looking at buying a FP. Had decided on 1 as per youtube then checked on product review and now not sure.
Which one do you have and would you recommend it. TIA.

I have a Magimix.....I have not tried anything else but would not hesitate to get another one if this one gives up.

I have one of that brand too Lyndal, the 4200 and it's fabulous. Also have a Braun from 25 years ago that I just can't part with because of all the accessories it came with, still working at full speed ...

I have a Bamix too....would not be without it either.
My original one is over 30 years old and still going strong. More recently we bought the long shank one....very hand for blitzing deep pots of soup.

If you're after a food processor then one of the very top quality ones you could get would be magimix.
Where are you located?
I know Myer often has people (not their own salespeople) giving demos of products.
If you do consider magimix, the top of the range food processor is about the $800 mark. If I were you, I would check out the magimix Cook Expert instead.
It consists of the top of the range food processor but also comes with a stainless steel bowl that also sits on the motor. It is easy to change from processor to bowl & it will do a lot of cooking for you. It's a thermo cooker. I went to a demo at David Jones, they do them in a range of stores at the moment. This thing will process food, mill flour, cook etc
It won't take up any more of your benchtop, it's got a smallish footprint but it is a quality product.
If you've got the money, it is definitely worth checking out. The reviews so far on product review have been excellent.

Many thanks for your replies. Was looking at the Breville. Through Ebay/GG offer could have 20% off, but there are
many reviews all mentioning that the bowls develop cracks. It has a 2000watt induction motor and on the larger size
Many rave reviews on youtube. Will look into the Magimix FP. Unfortunately can't afford the Thermo Cooker.

I've got a Kenwood and think it's great. We've had it about 18 months now and it gets used every day (juicing) I got it at the GGs
It has all the attachments including a spice/coffee mill and cake beaters (although I haven't tried those)
