Pfft 'friendship group' whats that? Its a public forum- surely people get to post what they want, under the guidelines stipulated by CS rules..

Just like in real life, you might get along with someone more easily than with others- it doesnt mean youre playing favourites or leaving someone out. Last time I checked, I wasnt 12 years old, but that doesnt make me an old crone neither..

In the last couple of days, a lot of posts have been deleted, but unless you saw them to begin with, a person might not know that..

By favouritism I meant critisizing one person for "nastiness" and not another who is equally nasty, just because of some dubious impression.  That has happened here lately.

For the past few days the threads here - on this board - for me at least - have been of concern.

They were numerous.

The naming, the content & the manner in which they were conducted.

I have a daughter - though now 25 - she was once 18.

Having read the whole - the beginning - being underage to sell - the re-introduction at 18 - the flirting - the admitted  issues - even those removed - made me wonder.

Made me wonder.

Where is Mum, where is Dad.

A young woman sought comfort, guidance or even friends -  here - or perhaps just entertainment & fun.

If it were my daughter I would be very distressed - though considered an adult at 18.

To enter these boards one has to be able to give as well as take - some thought others were harsh - some like me thought 'bunnies' for an 18 year old 'adult' a bit childish - some thought they would comfort.

Whatever - I would just like to say I wish Jessica all the world can give - on her own merits - a life worth living.

But I do not think she will find it here with - as put - 'us old farts'.

I will mention - Pepe - told me to get a room at one stage - thanks Pepe I did.

Desiderata was absolutely beautiful - have always loved it - words - I love words - good words - and have to say it was on the back of the toot door - everywhere in the 60s & 70s.

Can I rest my case.

i have said many things to many people, just as many people have said many things to me - i choose to take it all with a grain of salt.

if I think i have been rude or harsh i will apologise - i don't think saying 'get a room' to someone is either of those things, so hanging on to it is not going to do you any good.....
