How nice was she when asked the most offensive question by the Fairfax hack Sattler.
She should have slapped him & walked out but no, she gently chided him.
No shock jock or outrage was seen, no follow up on every news outlet lambasting this cretin, nothing.
So mock outrage for one side & barely a lifted eyebrow for the left hacks.

Left wing Fairfax hack. So how does this make him an LNP crony? Oh that's right, if you're a one eyed luvvie it makes perfect sense :^O

INAM: "The focus of this fiasco should be wholly and solely on sexism in our media and in our parliament."
Why, politically, should it be worthy off anything other than some perfunctory comments?
Sexism has been around for ever, and will continue to be so. Women unfortunately (pause for FN & IS to enter stage left) are more likely to be on the receiving end than men.

I don't have any affinity for the woman, I haven't read the article or heard the interview, but as the PM of this country, I applaud the way it was handled as reported in your OP.
IMO she handled the situation exactly as I would expect a PM to handle it. With integrity, decorum and a bit of class.

I do not think he has Parkinsons. They thought he'd had a stroke some time ago but upon further investigation he was diagnosed with something that I can't remember because it isn't that common but I do know it was not Parkinsons. He is having speech therapy and has to practise his speech because he is slurring his words.
Whatever the health problem there is no excuse for his comments. He is known for garbage like that which is why I stopped listening to him years and years ago,

That doesn't mean it is in any way acceptable John.
Imagine if we simply accepted things just because they have "been around for ever"? What sort of a society would it be that accepted things without change?
The act of murdering another human being has been around forever. It was even acceptable in many cultures many moons ago. As we have become more enlightened, the rules have changed. The laws have changed. It's no longer acceptable.
Civilized societies do not put up with things just because they have "been around forever". Civilised societies protest and make change.

Martini - your signature - did our PM really use the word nutjob? In public?

Listen to the interview, look at the stuff posted by the nut jobs and find out.
Do you think it's acceptable that the PM is depicted with a big black strap on in comic strips?
It takes a special type of nut job to produce some of the vile abuse that she's hit with every day.

Yes she did.
She was responding specifically to Sattlers comments that there are lots of crazy things written and said about her.
But what's your point? She's not allowed to say an innocuous term like "nutjob" but it's OK to vilify her without censure?

Funny of the day!
Imagine the outrage this OP would be spreading if she had slapped him
